Sometimes it is like bewitched.
The long weekend, a few days vacation in the Allgäu are booked. You want to be active and the hiking tour is a done deal. But you maneuver through the deadlines of everyday life, while hiking and travel guides pile up orphaned between to-do lists, files and event maps on your desk.
As always, time is short and planning a hiking trip, in particular, quickly takes up many more hours than anticipated. The anticipation fizzles out and good preparation falls by the wayside.
